Ngajozikue Judah Pule Muharukua Bok Ram

Onjose yOngua yaKaoko Annual Tournament 2022

One of the well-known age-mate organizations is Otjiuondo tjOnjose yaKaoko, which consists of young men who do not fold blankets. They host the best tournament ever in the Kunene region and beyond on the weekend of October 21-22, 2022. Many people who attended the tournament stated that it was the best tournament they had ever seen. Playing sports allows people to form friendships that they would not have formed otherwise. Sports bring people from various backgrounds and communities together. Many times, friendships formed on the field last even when the person is no longer involved in sports. Over the weekend, the Otjiuondo tjOnjose yOngua yaKaoko tournament did the same. Many people travelled long distances to attend the tournament, which was well-organized by the Otjiuondo tjOnjose yaKaoko.

Anyway, I'm the Himbacracy Philosopher, and I've written articles about Himba rules in general and academic life, and today I've just begun with the Otjiuondo tjOnjose yOngua because it was the main event we had over the weekend in Opuwo that brought one of the most beautiful and attractive competitions to take place in Opuwo during the tournament. Riseuapo Daniel Muharukua, the Omukuejuva man of Omuzi, has a son who turns out to be a young man named Ngajozikue Judah Pule Muharukua. Years ago, the young man told me that he wanted to inspire the youth of Kaokoland to pursue careers in agriculture, particularly small livestock.

He approached me two weeks before the tournament about the Bok Ram competition; I didn't know the name because I am just a typical Himba who knows only ongombo yotjiuru otjiserandu, and I also didn't know goats of the redhead have different types, as he told me. I just asked if you think those people will compete, and he said it doesn't matter because I want us to inspire the youth of Kaokoland and others to do the same. I referred him to Mr. Jeura Dixon Tjauira, the tournament organizer because I didn't have much to say to him.

I had no idea what their agreement was, but he called me in the afternoon and said, "mbwae muhona uripi?" He always gives me value when he wants me to help him. I said I was at home, but I'm going to the University of Tjama Tjivikua, also known as the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), to defend my thesis. He stated, "I need your assistance, muhona." I am a human being full of humanity, and I just told him to see me around 16h00, so we cut our conversations short. At 16h00, I called and said, "I am home and I have a lot to prepare just come now or later I will not get time." He simply replied, "meya nambano muhona."

African and African times have never gone hand in hand, which I believe is correct because African time was determined by the sun and night rather than the watch on the arm. Ngajozikue did not arrive on time, but once he arrived, he forced me to design the advertisement immediately, and after a few days, he returned with the raffle tickets for the Ram Bok competition, which I did without hesitation because there is an Otjiherero proverb that says "you never know what will take you to Epembe." I don't know what the future holds, so I prepare for the worst.

I recently heard otjitamba moutwa, which is similar to ohambo or otjihandura, and we have ovitambatundu. It was Friday, October 20, 2022, the police officers' and teachers' payday, and Ngajozikue was reporting from Kamanjab police station in Kunene region that he was busy registering his Bok Ram and that he had returned from his ohambo, where he kept his livestock known as otjitamba moutwa. Ngajozikue is one of those special people who farm inside the red line, and he has the goats required for the market. Ngajozikue gave the second report in Opuwo at Ueii's car wash after a few hours, inviting people to come and buy the tickets.

Yesterday, on Sunday, October 23, 2022, Opuwo made history when a young man drove one of the standard Bok Rams to Opuwo from "mehi romoukoto" inside the redline just for the competition. Over the phone, Unaro Tjivahe, one of the farmers, confirmed that Ngajozikue always injects his goats two weeks after the first spring rains, and then every two weeks to six weeks after the first frost. However, he remains vigilant when it rains heavily, as there are more parasites and more frequent dosing is required. "ozonduezu za Ngajozekue ombindu okuura," he said, referring to their full blood, with good records and history.

As previously stated, history was made in Opuwo for the first time when the Bok Ram yomutengwa Ngajozikue Judah Pule Muharukua was won by an 8-month-old boy named Eengui Dixon Tjauira the son of Jeura Dixon Tjauira. Mr. Tjauira organizer of the tournament Otjiuondo tjOnjose yOngua yaKaoko. It was an unforgettable experience for the father and mother to witness the best tournament in Opuwo as well as the first competition of that nation in Kaokoland. Mr. Tjauira and his family deserve congratulations.
